PROJECT PROCUREMENT

Existing Equipment Replication Review

Missing original drawings do not prevent a preliminary RFQ. Start with equipment tags, nameplate records or photographs; agree survey access and a new approved manufacturing basis before fabrication.

Actual Huawang workshop, not evidence of the specific project described

Heze Huawang is a pressure-vessel and large custom process-equipment manufacturer. In-house fabrication is assessed first; joint manufacture, specialist subcontracting and sourced items must have their actual origin and responsibility identified in the quotation.

Scope to assess

  • Identification of existing equipment and available records
  • Assessment of a site measurement task
  • Measured versus unknown dimension register
  • Fabrication from newly approved drawings

Useful RFQ inputs — incomplete records accepted

  • Tag or equipment name
  • Photographs and nameplate records
  • Site access, isolation and measurement limitations
  • Drawing-use rights and responsible designer
  • Interface baseline and planned replacement date

A name, equipment tag, list, datasheet, photograph or short project description is enough to open a discussion. Leave unknown engineering values blank; design approval and a firm quotation follow clarification.

Execution and responsibility

  1. Confirm record ownership and equipment identity
  2. Agree the survey location, safety conditions and service boundary
  3. Record measurable and inaccessible features separately
  4. Obtain approved design inputs before releasing fabrication

Photographs do not establish internal geometry, wall thickness or a design pressure. Requesting a survey is not a promise of attendance, in-service repair or design certification.
