PROJECT PROCUREMENT

Inspection & Vendor Documentation Scope

Define ITP, TPI, VDR and MDR requirements before award. Connect inspection notifications, document revisions, comments and final release to the actual equipment tags and agreed contract scope.

Actual Huawang workshop, not evidence of the specific project described

Heze Huawang is a pressure-vessel and large custom process-equipment manufacturer. In-house fabrication is assessed first; joint manufacture, specialist subcontracting and sourced items must have their actual origin and responsibility identified in the quotation.

Scope to assess

  • Review of Hold, Witness and Review points
  • Material, fabrication, NDT and test record requirements
  • Vendor document register and comment closeout
  • Final dossier and shipment release interfaces

Useful RFQ inputs — incomplete records accepted

  • Project quality specification and ITP template
  • Statutory inspection versus purchaser TPI responsibilities
  • Notice periods, attendance and release authority
  • VDR and MDR index, language and file format
  • Final acceptance and retention requirements

A name, equipment tag, list, datasheet, photograph or short project description is enough to open a discussion. Leave unknown engineering values blank; design approval and a firm quotation follow clarification.

Execution and responsibility

  1. Include inspection and document obligations in the quotation
  2. Approve the ITP and assign notification responsibilities
  3. Track tag-specific revisions and close reviewer comments
  4. Release delivery only under the approved contract process

Third-party inspection does not replace statutory inspection. External signatures, specialist testing and destination requirements require verified providers and an agreed scope.
